E39 Style 5's on E34 will it fit?
I found some wheel that i wanna get. I'm wondering will the E39 style 5's fit on an e34 well? Some guys say that the hubcentric is different.

You need hubcentric rings to do it right, or you might get vibrations at speed.

As far as I know, the hub on the E34 is only slightly smaller than the E39... The hubcentric ring is very thin. Actually, I wouldn't mind selling the rims on my E34 (pic below). They're 17" reps, staggered, need tires, but still has rubber on them. 255's on the rear, 235's up front. Straight. Comes with 4 hub rings. I haven't actually put these up for sale yet, but I don't have my E34 any more, so I don't really need them. PM me if you're interested.

Hub rings are VITAL. I ran my wheels for one day without them (left them at the shop), and the vibration on the highway was terrifying.

^yeah, you'd think that the wheel would be centered properly by the lugs, but that's a big mistake. It's amazing how bad it is without the rings. One time I got new tires for my old E30 and the guy at the shop lost one of the rings. I knew what the problem was within about 5 seconds of pulling out of the parking lot. I went back and the guy tried to argue with me that there never was one on that wheel!

You had a chance just under a year ago, cause I had my first set of 18" RSs for sale on Max last winter. I ended up selling them to Mike Burroughs, the Stanceworks.com guy. Those RSs on his rustmobile E28 are my old ones. Naturally, after not having them for a while I realized that selling them was stupid, so I checked in with my buddy Wolf over in Germany and totally lucked out....He didn't have an actual set of RS 285/286 but for some reason he had the lips and barrels. As you probably know, the 18" and 17" RS use the same centers, so he was able to make me a custom set of 18" from "spare parts". So these are what will be going on my 540i when it finally gets back on the road in the spring:

Nice find, are they staggered? If you paid less than $2000, you got a steal.
