^^If I remember correctly, (and often don't) an M70 weighs more than an LS1 and makes less power. Just a thought.

ok, i said m5*, M30, LS1, M60...

im just clowning, but LS1 i was real serious about.

i am probably going to just find me an m52. i also just found out today that its OBDII, so i'd have to make i I. while writing this...FI hit me again. NA reliability would trump FI, but...my m20 is bullet proof because i said so...(im sure its a common claim :p).

really folks, this summer is 3 years i've been into E30s, and just this summer i finally did what i wanted to do for a long time...now i want to go big!

Surprisingly good. I had low expectations but everything has turned out better than I hoped. My standalone fired up on the first try (which I still can't believe). Skinning and welding the sunroof went precisely as I planned, which is also quite unreal since I've never done that either. FI build parts are coming in steadily.

-Get the hooptie damn reliable enough so its track ready by spring(crosses fingers) Right on track! Trying to make it to cayuga for the first/cheap test/tune event

And if i can't resist the modbug to do anything to my 90' beater:

i have done absolutely nothing...but dream of all the possibilities.

all winter long....ive been bouncing back between m50TU, m52, M20+crack, m20Trurbo, M30........but im looking for the most cost (in terms of swap costs) effective reliability and power

going to pick up some bilsteins, fix shit
replace all brake lines

its such a hard decision.......i just want to make my e30 as new as possible *cuz ima be driving it for a while more than i want......f u insuance*
