Exclamation Help me find parts for my MB 190E!

Hey,

I got a 1988 Mercedes Benz 190E 2.3 5 speed for a winter beater. I need help finding a cheap supplier of parts.

Right now main priority is a front-of-the-driveshaft flex disc. Found a kit for $120 but on ebay it goes for 50+shipping.

Anyone know where I can go?

I know that this may not be of help as they are in England but i thought i might mention them
http://www.gsfcarparts.com/
and
http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/Car-Parts

and they both do overseas deliveries. I highly recommend them.

Cool little car. My parents had an 88 300e baaaaaack in the day. Try National Auto Parts on Cawthra in Mississauga. I remember going there for the 300e when i was about 12 lol. They used to sell oem and aftermarket at a fair price. Not sure how they are now though.

Umm I always assumed it's the 8V. How can I tell for sure? I'm not sure we got 2.3 16V here.

Keep suggesting places for parts guys.

Sorry for the lack of answer to your question, but the 16v should come with some type of special aerodynamic kit and I believe it should say 2.3-16 on the valve cover.

autopartsway.ca is winner. 87$ with free shipping for the OEM lemforder kit. I guess I'll wait for it. Now suggestions for cheap exhaust shops open today?

Did you check www.bimmerspecialist.ca for the flex disc? They have two kits available, one is $58 but I don't know what is included. You could email Eric and ask. Plus there's no sales tax since they are in Quebec.
