Mechanic HELP

Hey everyone e30STONES here again with some more help needed. I live in the meadowvale area and I am in dire need of a mechanic who knows how to work on my car. I took it to my Honda mechanic to get my clutch slave fixed and i dont think he put the spring back in properly. Now i may have to get down and dirty to fix it myself but I dont have the time ( Hence why i took it to him in the first place -_-'') Anyone know a good guy somewhat close to the area? I dont mind headin too far out as long as they are good and relatively cheap. Iv noticed the eurpean mechanics specialists are a little more costly but iv heard good things bout them.

During this cold a$$ weather do you guys still do timmies meet-ups? And if so what time and where. I saw one 4dr e30 and i tried catching up to him and he like sped away lol!

What spring? there is no spring on the clutch slave. There is a spring clip on the transmission that holds one end of the throwout arm. From what I can remember that spring can't be replaced without taking the transmission off.

You mean the return spring on the top of the pedal? What exactly is the problem?

yea its the return spring. Well everything was fine a while ago. When i was driving it felt as though the spring kept shifting as i kept hitting the clutch. Next thing i know is i feel a huge pressure loss of my clutch. After asking around and than looking, it looked as though the return spring was sitting above the hose that runs through to the slave and knocked it off. When i took it to my mechanic he changed the little plastic adapter for the hose and put it back in the slave. I picked it up from work not really looking to what had been done *big mistake* and saw they tucked the return spring so its up against the firewall. And they also dirtied my beige carpet -_-''. So at this point im confused cause is the return spring supposed to be above the hose connecting to the slave or was that wrong from before this episode happening?

*i should also add* The clutch still pops up fine now but if feels as though its coming back becuase of the hydrolic pressure, not because of the return spring. If this isnt to clear i can try taking pics and uploading them to better clarify my lack of mechanical knowledge =p
