Pioneer Elite PRO-800HD

looking to sell my old (5yr) plasma tv. this is a professional grade television, not consumer grade keep in mind.

tv is 43" diagonal.

the original MSRP was 12,000USD (http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...eTVs/PRO-800HD)

here are the reviews:
http://www.audioreview.com/mfr/pione...8_6434crx.aspx

or google "PRO-800HD" for your own reviews.

i don't know what is a fair price, so shoot me some $ suggestion.

ps... i will be throwing in the wall mounted brackets.

this is the ELITE level not KURO level. keep in mind this plasma is 5-yrs old, the quality is just stunning compared to the newer TVs.

I am sure it does - this unit has seen little to none use in the past two years.

are you interested in this unit, keep in mind it's a monitor not your conventional plasme tv with speakers. the hookup is ideal for a home speaker, i might throw-in my speaker setup too if buyer is interested.

This Pioneer model is worth $800 max now. You have to assume you will get 2 years use out of it.

I think $800 is high , even with a compounded rate of depreciation of 10% for each year. on a msrp of 6279.95 not actual selling prices.
As 5 years ago the best out there barely stakes up to the bottom middle line of tech for them.
In terms of specs it only maxs at 768dpi thought its internal convertor .
reconditioned price is $690.36

that's a fair analysis, one thing i don't understand is the MSRP price you used - where did that come from?

that was most likely the sell price from a retailer, even at that price (7K USD) that would of have been a steal for this monitor. the MSRP (from the manufacture - Pioneer) is 12K USD in 2003. Granted people would get it less, but nothing close to below 7K is possible for this monitor, considering MSRP is 12K USD - see first link I provided, it details the original MSRP from Pioneer.

If you are interested, I don't mind offering at the price you suggested. Let me know. thanks.

nope it was a review site as well as a few others listing the same price for the tv all under reviews not selling them. So retail would be around 5000
