Playing with the beater 535i

So i decided that the diving boards have to go. Rear got tucked and the gap in the plastics trimmed and adjusted.

Front removed for good. Still need to do some work to it, like reinstall the plate

On with the pics.
I trimmed the black surround plastics to be flush with the new tuckage. Still need to black out the chrome tho. Then, I need to glue the black plastic to the bumper to get rid of the wobble.



Front:

I even found mounting holes for the box-fogs. Now I need to devise indicators and a black rubber bump strip to match the side and rear of the car.

E34 bumper swap makes the car looks like S**T Terry. I've seen one done.
