Here's mine in winter mode. It's sad to know the snow is coming.

Rims are on. Handling reduced to something slightly above a yacht. Come on snow, make my drive fun again!

Chromius, what do you use to remove the center caps on your winter rims? Got any pics of the tool? I didn't get one and haven't put the center caps on yet for fear of not being able to remove them!

I'll take a pic when I get home tonight.

Are you sure you don't have one though? Funny enough, mine didn't come with my rims either, it was part of the original trunk equipment. Both this one and the style 5 tool as well. It actually supports the trunk carpet where it goes over the spare tire. BMW thought of everything. It took me quite some time to figure that out though, long after I had already made a removal tool out of wood blocks and knitting needles (No joke).

Edit: Number 10 is the tool, PN: 36131181948

Oh hell, I'll go look at that lunch...I even had that thread in the 5 series section asking what it looked like. I definitely have that piece holding up the trunk carpet.

The no center cap look is growing on me though...maybe this summer but not in the winter where the hubs are exposed.

That's funny, I was going to make a tool with extra screws, plasti dip and a piece of MDF! I dont' have any knitting needles kicking around.

So, when will my scarf be done? Right after Jay's sweater?

Nope. My carpet holder upper isn't a hidden double use tool. It's nothing more than a flat surface with a threaded piece at the bottom...damn. Guess I'll go steal some knitting needles.
