Been driving around all day today and wow what a difference! revs shoot up on first and second gear and the pull is noticeably better, besides the fact that I'm getting limited slip, getting the 3.38 ratio really did pay off, going into turns and giving it gas you can feel the back of the car push you into the turn. kudos to Tom (euroguy) for an awesome sale!

Nice!
Looks like i have competition in the looks department now that there are more green E36's on Max.
The LSD is now my favorite mod hands down. That's until i put the M50 manifold on.

i didnt want to open another topic, so im just reopening this one.. ive read all the posts, but there wasnt much info about the 3.15 LSD..
what you all think of a 3.15 LSD upgrade for my 93 325I.. i dont know what my current diff ratio is.. but my tank only gives me 420 km if i drive slow, so gas consumption im not worried about.
i will be drifting once in a while, no 1/4 miles or races.
any recommendations from previous experiences which ratio to go for..
i ve read most of you recommendin the high ratio LSDs cuz it gives more torque.. but there also hard to find.

You already have a 3.15 diff, so it'll drive the same. Make sure yours isn't already an LSD though.

i dont think i have an LSD.. my right wheel gets more torque than the left one.. and when its up in the hoist its the only one that spins.
so the stock diff with all the 93s 325I is 3.15?

If only one spins then the car isn't in gear. Even an LSD will only spin 1 wheel in that scenario. If it spins in the opposite direction then your diff is open.

Sorry, the tire on the other side will spin the opposite direction.

yeah .. only one of them spins .. so i researched that and found that there might be something wrong with the diff.
