Well, I'm back, ready to sleep, let's try that..

Is it me or max is slower than usually, when it comes to number of new topics (10 days and not that much new stuff).

I always wanted to know how you get there in terms of flying. What would the most used route to Iraq. Any idea?

^^goran stated that the military takes care of transport.

Glad to hear you're back home safe, can't wait to hear about it.

Not many people go there to visit, I can't really talk about that aspect of flying there but as far as military transport goes it's regular, no-fly zones exist but you can get clearance for that too.

As far as how it was, I will go back for sure..but that's me, I'm not saying it's great, it's not like playing video games or what you see in movies. You see/do some ****ed-up things but you have to go there prepared for that. It affects different people in different ways. Worst thing is if you get used to that and it becomes normal to you..

One of the guys that was with us always used to say that during the day alive people are after him, and he can deal with that, but at night when he sleeps dead ones come, and it's true for many.

This was just 7 days but it's different when you go knowing what you need to do and the time you have, so in those 7 days I had maybe 24h of sleep, after 2 days you get used to it..

As far as equipment, that's a whole different story, gotta love new technology.

NOW I can sleep..nice and quiet..

I find KW terribly boring; can only imagine how bland it must seem to you now Goran. Glad you made it home safe.

Eric, no photos unfortunately, not allowed.

Mike, KW is boring, but you can actually appreciate peace and quiet for a bit, a few days at least. Then it gets really boring.

Sirex, a friend of mine owns one so I went with him. He usually goes once a month (for a week).

All the guys in this group knew each other for a long time, some spent time in the legion before, some had formal military training elsewhere but all of them spent time in real wars, mostly in the Balkans. Two guys spent years in the red berets (Serbia), since they were 19, so this is all they know how to do. It's either this or same but without the legal support..

Some PS firms hire a lot of people without much screening but then you get bunch of a-holes who can't wait to play war, so losing people is a normal thing. In 5 years one guy was killed out of 25 in this group.
