No, military takes care of the transport. I did it only once before but I've know this guy for a long time, basically hey gets a contract and they take you there and back, you do the job, get paid, move on. I like the fact it's a week, not enough time to get bored of one place..

Do you do anything to mentally prepare yourself for travelling to a warzone? Or just brush up on firearms training and leave your shit off safety? (try to smuggle back an MP5 for me)

Not much, different people do it differently but most guys I know are used to this, one guy told me he's bored out of his mind unless bullets are flying around him. It's a week long contract, about 1 day in traveling and 2 days preparing for it, mostly "game plan".

MP5, wow it's been a while since I used it, but it's good in the sound-suppressed version. It's more or less out of commission, and don't forget the MP5/40

****, i can't stop thinking about guns now.

Although, i just applied for a job with the government which would give me a concealed carry.

I told some of my family that, and they said if i get the job they're gonna figure out a way to short Canada. Probably a good investment

Good luck with the job then, or if you ever decide to play for real let me know, I may be able to bring you in, as long as all wars in the world don't stop..

Lol. Even if they do we can go out and start some

I'd definatly be interested in that, i would need at least some combat training, and more firearms experience than i currently have. I've never even shot a fully automatic weapon.

Forget about landing normally - drop via parachute. Stay safe and sleep with one eye open.

You can't really go and apply. I know all the guys that are going tomorrow and I don't think I'd go if it was bunch of strangers. You have to be able to trust them. I heard stories of people doing this for the first time and being all tough but once they got to where they were going and saw everything they were lost, useless..and that's the word thing that can happen, for that person and those around him.

Time to get some sleep/rest..and, of course, I'll Be Back
