e46 Ignition coils
I was wondering how frequently I need to replace my spark plug ignition coils.... Seems recently I've been feeling like on ocassion, its not firing "right"... Especially in wet or damp weather..... but opn other ocassions as well.... Plugs are 6 months old (quad tip titanium). I think it could be the coil packs.... No error codes kicking up, just a feeling I'm getting..... Actually has a misfire cylinder 1 about 2 years ago, but that was after a engine was, so we reset and it has never returned although it could have been an indication that the coil was starting to leak.......
Do the coils have a "lifespan" or does their performance diminish over time? My car has 198K Km..... Thoughts?
