Like what MK mentioned, change it back to the original and take it to court. But if it mean you'll have to skip work then it's not worth it. Book a court date anyway and see, if you're working, then just do the guilty plea with an explanation and least get it reduced.

Yes BMW sells the clear lights, but you're suppose to put the amber bulbs in them. And to get rid of the "egg yolk" look, get silvervisions or DIY ones.

We can't help it but, cops these days are looking for even such small things as illegal bulbs.

well i got the orange bulbs in already so i'll try to get used to it for a week or so then see how it goes.

btw the cop told me go down to dixie road there is a dealership there and check out the bulbs they put in the cars as if i didn't know.

well i'm gonna book a court date and see what happenes then.

btw this is from the link slemmer posted. my ticket says sec 142 (6)

Quote:
Q. Are white turn indicator lights legal?
A. NO

Sec 142(6) Highway Traffic Act- "Mechanical or electrical signal device shall clearly indicate the intention to
turn, shall be visible and understandable during day-time and night-time from the front and rear of the vehicle
for a distance of 30m"
Many of the after market lights blend too much with the white headlights, making it difficult for other drivers
to clearly know the intention to turn. The only colour allowed to the rear is red.

clear corner use an amber bulb and paint it silver in the day time it looks clear untill it turns on it looks amber.

i know a guy that just got off last month with the same fine in brampton court. he brought a bill from the dealer saying that the wrong bulb was installed and the correct bulb is installed. that was a quick in and out of the court the judge dismiss ...
