May have bought m style wheels
ok so i bought what appears to be the popular m style wheel.... but the chrome is flaked off of one of them. are they just coated or were the true M wheels polished? either way can i peel the plating off and polish the aluminum? or should i have them re coated? any ideas?

pretty sure there are no oem chrome wheels, they were probably chrome dipped, you'll have to sandblast the rim and have it redipped. I'd sandblast them all and have them powdercoated instead.

any idea on a good place for powdercoaing? local? whats that kind of thing cost?

Century Powder Coating does a lot of rims (8 Grand Ave, Unit C - Kitchener, Ontario (519) 497 9402)
Here's some other places that do rims, some paint and some powder coat. Can't remember which ones do what specifically.
