I agree about the e34. Mine came with a set of 17" Type 1 reps when I bought it and although I loved the look, one of the barrels was cracked and I felt like a fraud with reps, so I took them off. I just bought another set of 18" RSs, but I think sometime down the road when I have 3K burning a hole in my pocket I'll get a set of real Type 1s just because they're so awesome.
However, I also think that they look really good on an E36.
As for the OZ, I never really liked Futuras, but Mitos, now we're
talking.
IIRC, those Type 1s are actually OZ wheels (technically) , as they were made for Schnitzer by OZ back then.
And Jay, if you decide to go Schnitzer, you should check with Wolf (wokke.de). He usually has a set of Type 1s for sale and if not can probably get them (and at a better price than those felgen-garage guys). The RSs I just got from him look ****ing INCREDIBLE and he let me have them for substantially less than what he was asking on his site.

I'd defenatly prefer buying a set of rims already finished rather then doing them myself as I did with the rs's ( to much work/stress involved)
