The E32 was an amazing model for its time...The short period i would say they were ahead of Mercedes in the high end luxury class...

Is it true what they said about the V12 engine? That it would be completely maintenance free aside from changing oil and spark plugs when needed?

yep. it was interesting to watch just b/c it was old, but otherwise as boring as watching paint dry.

can't wait for the new season of top gear to start.
