Whats with these holes in my door? (PIC)
My door moulding was ripped off in a parking lot today, all clips are broken so I'll be buying 7 fresh ones. However, whats with these two large holes? what is their purpose? Is there a grommet which covers them?

Its so you can access the window bolts or something when taking the door apart IIRC.

Maybe the door was dented, so the shop had to drill in order to pull the metal

It's from when the car was built. There are two allen bolts that are a pain in the ass to get at on the window slider. That was so Dieder could tighten them without yelling shissa every 5 mins and killing someone.
