Looks like we're going to have to organize a fun day in the sun and do some vids boyz. I picked up a Casio FC100 today. Nothing hugely special, but it does 720p and...

210fps, 420fps and 1000fps.. The higher ones are pretty useless(ish) but the 210fps has a mode where you can switch from 30fps to 210fps on the fly. With a little post production:

I would love to take some high speed video of tires spinning and smoke rolling from them!

The ideal setup would be a laptop recording audio from my Shure mic, and this cam recording all the action in 30/210fps.

It records on SD card though, and I don't know the maximum size. Also it can't run on power, only battery so we're not making any epic 2 hour movies. But it might be fun!

this sounds like a project that could end in some kind of high speed police chase, im just hoping the battery will last long enough to cover that most of trial too? who's volunteering?!
