a homer is someone who is biased, i love toyotas and i am biased, thinkin that god would drive a supra if he was a human.

e36's are great cars, but like stated above even vw's have gone down the crapper in prices, corrado vr6's are going at 50 percent of what they wher once going for 2 years ago.

im looking at buying another e36 right now, but not looking to spend more then 4000 on a clean 325is or 328is.

I'm sorry, but for those of you that think a '95 VW anything fetches 4k-8k are on some really really good crack. VW's those years are worth no more than $1500 tops. The only disclaimer to that are those super low mileage ones with no rust and are cert and e tested. BUT, those are damn near impossible to find. Furthermore, my other car is a 2003 1.8t jetta wagon, and the most I could get for it now is $7000, with 170k on it. It is mint too. And, wagons are worth far more than sedans or golfs. How, in the world, do you get 4k to 8k for a '95 with 218000km????

The problem with most e36's are they aren't well kept. IMO, the ones that are, and there are few, are worth 5K or more. Excluding 318s, and 320's.

It's a $2000 car at the max. Anyone that pays more needs to go back to school.

I think you need to bo back to the autotrader or some other buy and sell media and find a clean 325is cert and e-tested that you can acutally purchase for $2g's. Doesn't exist.

it does (7/8 might be a bit high for a '95 but 4-6 is reasonable depending on the car.....i got 5.5K for my '97 gti (~185,000). maybe a '95 gl in poor condition would fetch 1.5, but around 4 is not unreasonable.

Sorry Pawel, I think we're going to have to agree to disagree on this one. I'm sure your car was darn near perfect, to get that kind of money, not to mention it is a '97 and has lower mileage than subject in question. Furthermore how long ago did you sell it, 'cause this year car values did take a shit kicking. Further still, you guys are talking about the mk3 vw's which are the mistake years. Poor handling, slow, shoddy interior, Too heavy, rust way prematurely, crappy brakes, etc, etc, etc. No love for mk3's or mk4's for that matter.

it wasn't that perfect.... yeah i'm sure prices probably dropped this year because of the economy but still i think 1.5K would be too low. for a reg. condition '95 with ~200,000km i think 3K would be minimum.
