id trade my e30+ 2grand and a bit..

but 3,200-4500 i think is reasonable.. get that e36 m3 exhaust and it will appeal more to the eye

well mk4 golfs and jettas are down to 4k - 8k range for a non gli. some nice mk4's out for 5k nowadays. e36's are nice, but they are like corrados, dropping like flies, 4 k is a solid price for a e36

What ever its worth, it'll be with more come spring time with a nice polish, wax, full interior shampoo and detail. People will pay much more if a car is literally CLEAN and the warm weather hits.

how is it a shame ? styling wise a vw is just as good looking, and unless you got a m3, a vr6 can perform with a 2.8 or 2.5.

if your gonna sell, you should wait til spring, people will be looking to buy a new car for summer, and should generally be willing to pay more for a nice clean car.

styling wise vw is just as good looking? um. ok. (no)

I've never had a stock vr6 keep up to my lightly modded 328. Not saying its decidedly faster, just posting my experience.

stop being such a homer, ive seen a stock mk3 gti vr6 beat a 328is last week actually. and yes they are just as good looking as e36's. an e36 is worth 4k, and a vr6 gti stock is worth 4k unless one has a turbo or m3 motor etc... but wheels and lowered 4k sounds right for both cars.

Well...
1st: people here are cheap (sorry, but you know it!)
2nd: VW prices have also droped big time...(just sold 2000 Jetta GLS for $2K, when ANY comparable E46 would bring several times that!)
3: asking price and actual selling price are 2 different things!

What's a homer?

And all i did was post that i haven't had any of those cars stock pull on me, i didn't say anything else.

And for the record, i think those vdubs are flat out ugly, irrespective of the looks of an e36.
