Oddly enough, I haven't had a chance to take any great pics yet but here's a quick shot I took over the weekend. Wish I'd had the chance to wash it...

Tan interior

I've got a boatload of maintenance to do on it. Chain tensioner is here, oil and filters are here. Gotta go grab some plugs and maybe polish the headlights. I might change the tranny fluid or get my indy to do it. Haven't quite decided yet...

Didn't I see that E39 @ M&M before? I thought it was black! (or dark grey?)

Im sure you have seen it at M&M, but the car is defiantly orient blue! I think the carbon hood throws some people off, especially at night it is hard to tell.

How is the driving compared to the E36 ?

I had a complete 540i to pick-up from the scrapyard nearby and it was crushed by error...
Same as yours but interior was black leather...GRRRRRR..

So now i have first bid on all BMW's that comes in and cannot be moved or crushed without my permission.

Anyway i love this car of yours, specially for the week-end family drive out to the hills.

Driving im[ressions? Uh, it's ridiculously fast? Drives like a heavy car but makes for a great highway cruiser. My old E36 handled amazingly but always felt twitchy on the highway. Trade off for nimbleness I suppose. I could have played with the alignment settings on the E36 but it pretty much never went on the highway...

540 crushed? That's sad.

I'm happy with my purchase. A couple of funny little problems but they'll get fixed. Nothing I hadn't anticipated...

Just go into DSP and select off.

I may borrow my buddy's EQ that does the analysis if you want to get your car set up sometime.

Congrats. I've been a blue (orient, maritz, medium) car fan on all my rides, except the vert.
