Debate

Hi Everyone, i don't think i need to introduce myself, if you look at my name and you have visited the friday nite woodbridge meets, you probably know who i am.

Anyways, now we have moved and enjoying the new house it's time for another car. I am going to drive my trusty, reliable Camry through the winter but as soon snow is gone the camry will be up for sale and then it's time for something more fun. We have lengthly debates in our house and the ones on here that know Sam you can understand the discussions are going on forever LOL I want to be able to track it and drive it to work.
#1 on my list is another E39, I enjoy driving Sam's 540 tho im not sure if i can handle the headache, like right now we worry when there is NO warning light on on the dash.

I have mostly owned japanese cars, 240sx's and rx7's and believe me these were not problem free either

#2 Suby wrx, they don't come cheap but i know of many that are fun and problem free

#3 G35coupe and i just don't know what to think about this car

I'm sure there are other possible cars and i thought to just bring this debate to Max

Thanks

what's the budget? does the size of the vehicle matter?, personally I wouldn't want to track a large car like a E39, too much weight to push around, what about a S2000.

yes, has to seat 4 and carry groceries, so S2k is out of the question.

If that's the case than get the suby, it's more reliable than the G35

Tell me your budget.

I know 2) G35 coupes
-Ones twin turbo'd 650whp fun track car (Coupe 2003)
-Stock 2004 Coupe (interesting many trades)

And if you can get your hand on one of your old s-chassis (s13, s14 preferably 180's or Silvia's) i have a friend trading a WRX STI looking for a flawless clean s-chassis

I'd pick a WRX over G35.. and yes I've owned both.

I found nothing nice about driving a G35 coupe personally... Chassis was noisy and seemed to be uneasy over bumps.... Motor was weak...

there are a ton of better cars out there IMO
