is it wrong for me to think that the Honda sign needs to be before the VW.

if ur a euro elitist, then the way it is works, but if you look at performance vehicles they offer in Canada under their own name, not under another brand that they own, i think Honda should be ahead of VW. S2000 vs GTI. imho the s2k is a fantastic little car that is very well balanced, but lacks a bit in the torque department. either way, funny pic!

how can you compare a s2000 (USA MSRP 34,995) to a GTI (US MSRP 24.995).

seriously. 10K buys more car, or most forum member's main cars.

uh-oh! Now you said it (reliable DD)... now your alternator bracket is going to break, slicing your belt and will overheat the engine. Or something along those lines, just for trusting your E30.

+1 VW quality went down hill since the earyl 90's...I have owned at least 10 VW's back in the day but they are not what they used to be! As much as i LOVE euro cars, at this point i would take a Honda over Vw

I'd agree that Honda > VW. But you can't compare the GTI to the S2000, maybe the R32 can be compared to the S2000. It's too bad we didn't get one of those in Canada.

There's a handful of R32's floating around

The GTI and the S2k aren't in the same class, and serve two very different purposes.
