BTW, thats $275 tax in.

Hoooray! Thanks for helping make RMP's deal even better than it was originally.

Can you disclose what improvement are made from your tune on the E46's?
1) Is throttle response improved over the stock ECU with the laggy drive-by wire throttle response?
2) Is the rev limiter raised?
3) Is top speed removed?
4) Is the tune optimized for certain mods only? (e.g. intake + exhaust vs. intake + exhaust + headers vs. only ECU)
5) How aggressive is timing changed?
Thanks!

answers:
1) yes
2) yes, if you want it raised. Usually I raise it to 7K on a 330i
3) I don't like to do this as there is nowhere it is required, but it can be done
4) I have one version for cars that are either stock or with CAI, and can make one for exhaust and headers as required.
5) not super aggressive, as it's not good to trip the knock sensors since this will actually cause torque loss. The reason is that if you advance timing by 3 degrees and then knock starts, you have to retard it back more than 3 degrees to recover.
Because of the advanced systems in these newer ECU's, they squeeze out almost all available performance and run close to the knock limit. Anyone wanting top performance should consider using the highest octane available when performance software is installed.

roughly 12 hp on 94 octane. The overall driveability is increased in just normal driving also.

Can you run 91 octane on your tune or must be 94?

I have a custom tune for the e90 325 cars.
Please call for info, as it is not the same price as the others.
