wtf, that's sick, 13.5? I just bought a caddy srx and an e30, but if I would have seen this at this price, I would have just copped out on a nissan xterra or something

I can't beleive that, 13.5? There must have been something wrong with it.

Was originally asking $20k for it.
Not sure why he was selling it, but for $13.5 he should have just kept it, e39 M5's are just too nice of a car to let go of

I mean it wasn't mint, but he was upfront with everything, Had some rust bubbles, listed wht it needed what it had done. He was gonna trade it in where he probbly would of gotten 13 possibly lower so why not sell it to someone here.

I'm waiting till they drop into e30 price range so I'll have to wait a little

maybe, but you could get both those issues addressed and it would still cost less than the other E39 M5's currently for sale in Ontario and you would have a clean motor with new vanos, it's just a bit of a hassle to go through. Or you could buy one with half the mileage for $28k and still run in to those problems a few years down the road.

Even better idea buy this and leave it on the shelf for the day the motor does need some work. Yank the old one for rebuild and drop this suker in

The carbon buildup problem can be avoided with software, or the engine needs to come out and be torn down. No thanks.

And I don't personally know of anyone that's done the Vanos job themselves, although I am sure it's happened.

Don't get me wrong, that's a screaming deal. But when those types of deals come up (the price drops $7K in not too long a time, that gets my Spidey senses tingling.
