Ok, I'm going to try and dig this thread out from the gutter.
Those who are serious, PM me your contact info (name, tel. email) and forward a pic of your ride to; duhprez@rogers.com by the end of the weekend (Sept. 20).
The shoot is looking for any kind of luxury convertible, that either looks like a newer model or can even be vintage, preferably in a stand-out color, i.e. red, yellow, gold, light blue, etc. But if color is a problem, they’d be happy to find any kind of luxury convertible as long as it looks new-ish or is cool vintage.
They would need the car for about 3 to 5 shooting days, but the days are not consecutive. It would be spread out over a week and a half. The film shots would require the star actor and another actor to drive the vehicle with the top down, at a speed no faster than 15 km/hr. So, it'll be pretty slow most times going just about 50 feet. The longest moving shot would be driving in a straight line through the main street of a small town approx. 10 blocks. Cameras will be rolling on separate shooting vehicles that will travel alongside the car. Production would need the car starting on Sept. 24th.
The name of the movie is ‘Running Mates’ and it stars Henry Winkler, DJ Qualls along with a slew of other very respected actors. The film shoots 2 hours North of Toronto, in a town called Burks Falls, which is right by Huntsville. Production would probably provide an on-screen credit for the owner of the car, plus maybe even give them a walk-on role in the film but that would be up to production and the owner of the car to discuss.
