WOW!!!!!!!!! First of all big thanks to Jay and everyone for planning the meet and cruise.

It was filled with everything, highway blasts, scenic twisty back roads with elevation changes, beautiful fall colors, changes in weather, police radar traps, police road blocks, police escorts, police helicopters, police harrasment.... and in my case i even had a f ing retarded child throw something off a overpass on the 400 which struck my car!!!

Firstly, does anyone know the owner of the other dakar yellow e36 m3, with the Hanman wheels and m cloth interior?? He left during the long rest?

Secondly, in the future I think it might be a good idea to disclose the meeting point, but make no mention of the direction in which we will be heading. I think it could possibly help us out.

And as some of you have already previously mentioned it did seem that after our lunch stop the cops seemed to know our route and were already waiting......

Lastly on my home on the 400 I swear i passed at least a dozen radar traps, and eventually I got pulled over for no reason other then the fact that I was driving a BMW. I flat out told the cop that this is basically discrimination, he had no proof I had done a thing and only pulled me over for having a BMW.

All in all fantastic route and probably the most memorable cruise I have ever attended.

what a day. i got a ticket for going 118 on 100 zone on highway 11. ive never gotten booked at such slow speed on a 100km/h zone. unbelievable

overall the day started out really good until cops showed up. one was following me for 15 mins during the cruise that really set me back, but ending up turning around. got pulled again on the 400 because i drove a bmw again, although no ticket. ridiculous

EPIC cruise! Twisties + OPPs + Chopper....

I can't believe the amount of O.P.P.s there were on the way back to toronto on 400...

I left early, right before boston pizza and was stuck on 11 for the longest time on the way back. Caught up with a silver e30 m3 and a black e36 with track tires on though lol

What did he say to that?

BTW Jay, forgot to thank you myself. Awesome time (: Loved how the sun was in and out on those scenic roads.

I'm so happy that everyone is taking the OPP onslaught in jest. I'm sure they (as well as the anonymous callers who complained about us) think they ruined our day, but frankly, I don't think we've ever had this much fun at a maX event.

Cheers to you guys!

I got extremally lucky, as it fell I sorta drove into it so it hit my front airdam. It was already scratched from the previous owner who couldnt drive, now it has a deep scratch in plastic and its lose

from the looks of the pics and everyone's reveiws I am so pissed I was sick this weekend, sounds like I missed a fun eventful day, but glad everyone made it home with only minor incedents!!

I'll catch up on the stories on the 18th at the Max E30 meet.

so wish I was out this weekend.

Ya wicked time Jay. But then again I got off with only a 'no permit' ticket, which made my day.

That chopper was too much, must have followed us for 100km, then hovered over the roadblock and Sunoco WTF?!

Then I got yanked again on the way home. Apparently, the Skyline is too loud and smells funny. So we had to sit on the side of the road to discuss where the NOS was hidden for 20 mins. But they let me go after they found out the car is legit and I already got ticketed in the "RIDE Spotcheck"

STEVE30: Why were they after you specifically? They blasted past several cars to get you.
