Question about headers

My stock exhaust manifold blew up
and my car sounds like a big tank
so i grabbed stock m3 (off of s52)
getting them put on Friday on my 328i
but wud it just make my car backfire and stuff
shud i do bigger piping all the way to my muffler?

328 and M3 catalytics are the same so it shouldn't be a problem. Mufflers are bigger on the M3. I don't think you will have a problem at all.
