How do you secure your rims from thieves?

which rim lock is good without costing an arm and a leg?

Rim locks are cheap..
well at least the ones from BMW..

i dunno if theres different type of wheel locks.

i'm talking about the ones with lock nut and corresponding rim bolt

really, if they want the wheels, they will get the wheels. Wheel locks only slow them down, but do not deter.

If they are that valuable, have them insured.

for one wheel I use 2 OEM diferent secure screw. But why you asking in CA somebody stealing wheels

rotweiler Ivan's method would also work nicely but you run the risk of leaving brain matter all over your shiney paint With my RS's I have 3 diff sets of lock nuts all 3 sets from different brands. Keeping my fingers crossed!
