Hey guys, this is obviously not a Mazda forum but I figured that these cars appeal to a similar vein of automotive enthusiasm. I've decided to part with my 2006 Mazda MX-5 Miata. I've had the car since new (March 2006).
Here's the rundown: Copper Red Mica GS model featuring a 6-speed manual gearbox, limited slip differential, traction/stability control, Bilstein shocks, black cloth interior, black vinyl top, factory hardtop and air conditioning. It's currently sitting on 18" 5Zigen rims (same weight as stock wheels - 17 lbs) and Falken Azenis RT-615 tires. Mileage is around 60,500 KMs, mostly accumulated over the course of several long road trips through Canada and the United States. Only driven in summer months and stored in heated garage during winter.
It is mechanically perfect with no issues at all.
It is cosmetically near-perfect, with only a typical assortment of stone chips on the front bumper separating it from an unused example. No door dings anywhere. The interior is perfect, never having been left open and unattended for any length of time. I'm a slim guy, so the seats have no bolster stress or wear.
The car was switched to full synthetic early-on and has been over-maintained since day one. I am the only owner and have the complete maintenance record.
NEVERS - Never winter driven - Never tracked - Never smoked in - Never eaten in - Never involved in an accident
The lease ($426/month) runs until the end of March 2010, at which point the buyout is $17,500. The lease allows for 80,000 km, so there are around 19,500 kms left for the period between now and next March. Considering the extra equipment (hardtop, two sets of rims, two sets of tires) and the current value of similar cars on Autotrader (~$22k), this is a steal. If you're interested, send me an e-mail.
