SRS/AirBag Light :\

Well, I finally got around to changing my brake pedal switch this weekend which went great.... until I started the car and noticed the air bag light was on. I didn't disconnect the battery because I didn't think it would affect the SRS light, guess thats a big no! Anyways anybody have a reset tool they can help me out with?!

Thanks!

I'm in Mississauga/Oakville/Milton

Whats with non-mechanics charging to do something like resetting a airbag light on max?!?! Maybe you shouldn't have bought the tool if you were so hard up for $20!

I asked for a hand with the light... no-one responded. So I bought the tool online to do it. If I charge the first couple people $20 for the use of it and make my money back then I'll offer it out for free. You don't like that? Then don't ask!

And what does my mechanical abilities have to do with plugging in a tool to a port and pressing a reset button? That I don't understand at all..

I just shelled out my $20 to have my airbag light cleared. To me, it was well worth it because it's almost 1/10 the price of buying it online from the US. And, although you guys were harassing Hurricane for charging for the services of an amateur, he certainly was able to solve a problem that's been bothering me all summer ... and he did something with his Peake that the experts were unable to do!

Ahhh... life is good without that blasted warning light in my face!

I have the carsoft program and I will do it for free!

The whole idea of this site is for Bimmer owners to help each other.... and I am down with that!

Just bring your e36 around to my place....

Pm me if want to come by.

Evenings and weekends are best.

Cheers,

Willy
