bought a bike today



hey guys:
Many of you know me here from the max meets back in the day with my old accord. well i have picked up a new ride. this time its on 2 wheels though. its a 03 cbr600rr and i have ordered the jacket and helmets which should be here in a week.

Damn! I have a 2006 1000RR I would of sold for $6500!

Nice bike. My brother has the same bike but it was resprayed silver and has a Yoshimura (or something like that) exhaust. As far as what he tells me its excellent. Congrats

Ive been riding for years man. This bike is no joke! be safe on it dude. Its a power house and very jerky.
For a first bike its definitely got more power than u are ready for.

Nice bike. My street bike is a VFR and my track bike is CBR600.

Once you feel confident on it, I HIGHLY recommend taking the FAST school. You won't believe how much you can improve in a single day.

The biggest thing I learned is: You are NOT doing what you think you are doing. The instructors (current & ex-race) give YOU feedback on what you are doing OK and what you need to change. It rocks!

I re-take FASTII every second year and keep learning.
This year my lap time dropped 7 seconds.

I have and that's what encouraged me to get one. I lived in Toronto for 9 years and I tell you, the insurance companies in Ontario are god damn blood suckers. I wanted one for so long and my insurance rates in Toronto were in the 350$ range. I now have moved to Calgary and insurance on this bike with basic coverage is $15 and full for $32.
I guess we should thank the liberals on that one.
