1995 325i won't crank!?

ok...I did a lot of research on the EWS in the E36 but my car's production date is 12/94. I removed the glove box and found EWS in there. It use to crank just fine and then out of the blue it won't do anything.
All the lights come on when I turn the key but it won't crank. I don't even think my car has EWS because there was nothing behind the glove box.

Anyone ever have this problem or know what it might be?

Hmm 95s should have EWS. You can also check the ECU the car has and that will also determine if it's non-EWS or EWS. If it's a red label 413 then it's non-EWS. If it's silver sticker I think that was with EWS. What about an alarm, do you have that?

Do the lights on the dash go dim when you try to start?

Nope. I checked the starter and it has power coming to it. I tried hitting it and nothing works. I'm starting to think maybe its a fuse or something?

12/94 should NOT have ews. If you're really not sure, post a picture of the head (not the cut part that is cut to your car) of your key and I (or someone else) will confirm 1000%.

It doesn't have EWS. It has the red sticker and no EWS behind the glove box....so I'm sure there is no EWS in my car but I just don't understand why it will not start. Everything worked fine up until this problem. All the lights come on the dash and when I turn the key...nothing!

Most likly the bendix on the starter is seized. Common for our cars and mine did the same.
Try push starting it, if all is fine and running after then it's most likly your culprit.

Yup, push start is the key to diagnosing easily if it's the starter.

If it still doesn't start, then the next likely cause would be a weak battery. I know what you said ... light turn on etc, but if the ECU sense low power, it won't turn on the injectors and shit.

After that, it's anyone's guess: ignition, relays, wiring ...
