Tranny Upgrade Options ?

Well I took the boosted e36 318 out to the track lastnight for the first time and on the first run of the night I blew the tranny lost 2nd gear. So now I am wondering what I should do for a upgrade ?? Will a M3 tranny bolt up to the M42 ? will I have to change the driveshaft ?? what other options are there ?

Thanks Rob

I ended up going to Cambridge and Milton yesterday and pickup up a 5 speed M3 ZF Tranny and a 3.45 LSD for the car. I will update on the install and how it all works out
