Estoril Shoot

so here it is.....my first shoot. my friend 328IScreamer, let me shoot his 99 estoril M3. photos were taken in chatham, in front of the armory. it was a little too dark by the time we got there for my camera, its not a DSLR, its a super zoom. i did what i could. some shots i was hoping for a nice silhouette, which i suppose turned out okay.

let me know what you think, and what i should have done, and what i can improve on.

enjoy, and thanks.

Craig.

well after the original plan of day shots went down the drain, i decided to make it less about the car, and more about the car and the background.....so other than the car and the colour not being very visible...what would the main issue be?

They look like they were taking with a camera phone? Unless it's just the resizing.

Everything but the first one is really grainy.

grainy is likely because so tripod was used
there is also no variable shutter speed on that camera which makes it much harder to take good night time shots
maybe we will try some day time shots craig

the camera is a 10 mega pixel....but perhaps the lack of light is to blame.

i didnt use my tripod, but i dont think that has much to do do with these shots. the shutter is variable, its automatic, so it cant be manually changed to do what i want to do.

other than i need to not take night shots, how does my background work, angles and all that?

Thread was cleaned up. No sense in cluttering a simple thread with a lot of BS.

thanks. i like the angles, but that doesnt mean that others are going to like them. i have figured out, that you cant be any good at photography if no one likes the shot.

i forgot my tripod, but my camera was pretty steady while i was shooting. it has a VR (vibration reduction) lense. it works great, and i think the lighting is actually the biggest issue.

my dads a photographer, and he says the lighting is the first thing thats should be correct.
