I tried to watch it in the past, but there's too many oval circuits.
Yeah I suppose there's skills and strategies invovled in proper dragging technique and knowing when it's the best time to pass since everyone is dragging one after another.

In other words, I don't really like NASCAR and I don't understand why SPEEDTV shows so much of this. It drives me nuts.
They have not only NASCAR racing coverage, but they have like the talk show version of NASCAR.

DUMB!!!!

DUMB!!!! DUMB DUMB!!!! I HATE IT!!!!!

I'd rather watch cooking instead of NESCAR.

I know those drivers MAYBE good or even outstanding, but racing oval circuit is just too stupid.

NASCAR rewuirs no skill, or nothing close to what F1, GP, Rally or whatever do, its boring. its like a merry go round at a high speed.....round and round it goes.....

bmwm5lover, if nascar required no skills, everybody would be NASCAR drivers and make big money. Also you need a lof of strenght to participate. Next time we have Go-KARTS @ 401 Mini Indy, I'll see you after 30min of racing.

i used to like the kodak number 4 driver, just cause his car was yellow, tells you how much i give a shit about their skill, i wish they would crash more, only reason i try out nascar games is cause first thing i do, go backwards and see how nasty i can get the crashes

should be like that in real life, just have a kamakazee driver who goes backwards and the other cars try to avoid him, NOW that is how nascar should be

not like we'd be wastine racing talent

Racing in general I find is pretty boring to watch, except for maybe WRC.

But I'd watch F1 over Nascar, just because the circuits are a bit more interesting. At school I hear about people debating the latest aerodynamicists with the different F1 teams, and their finances, etc - but I couldn't see myself keeping track (pun unintended) of all that stuff.

I'd be interested in checking out your '65 Mustang though!

NASCAR's not a sport. It's a bunch of rednecks chasing each other around in a circle.

is there skill involved, yes, but not compared to hockey or any other real sport. If you really want to see real races, watch MOTOGP this year GO ROSSI!!!!

Well, guys the truth, that even though NASCAR may not be as....let's say, exciting and might not look interesting, it does requires, patiance and obviously skill. Not everyone can get into an oval circuit and just drive around in circles. NASCAR drivers have skills. Just remember when Dale Earndhart drove the C5Rs in LeMans. He was a NASCAR driver.
