Process Serving on someones wedding day? lol

So hear me out...

Ive been asked to serve some papers for my brother who is a lawyer to someone on her wedding day. Now I know its probably not the *most* ethical thing to do to someone..especially seeing its her wedding day. But due to circumstances beyond anyones control, the woman in question is only in Canada to get married and will be here for an extremely short amount of time. My brother had checked in with other process servers in the area in which this woman will be and have all refused to do it because of the fact shes getting married.

I personally have zero problem doing it, and im sure im gonna be called a slew of names and have opinions offered of myself for doing it, but when you look at the bottom line, hes got a job to do, and this is all at the expense of his client, who is this womans ex and has some legal dealings with.

So now as I prepare to shoot myself in the foot here...whats your opinion?

Do it. Who cares if its her wedding day. If the bitch wasnt being as she has been and avoiding the issues at hand than this wouldn't be an issue nor would she get served.

**** her. It's time she acts like an adult.

i also agree, she caused the problem to go that far, she only has herself to blame... make sure you do it right before they get married, make sure you jump in at the "please speak now or forever hold your peace..."

Do it!!

She obviously has it coming, and she's ducking the issue... so she's only got herself to blame.

Tape it.

My opinion is that it does bother you abit, hence the question, the professional process servers even declined to do it, but if this is the ONLY opportunity you have.. do it..

maybe dress well, a bouquet of flowers for the bride, kiss her on the cheek and said

Congratulations, you are being served ...and run like speedy gonzales.... J/K

so what if shes being served? all youre doing is given documents to her right? so like what, is she going to break down and cry, or is her special day going to be ruined? Maybe get her Before the wedding ceremony? you know? or after? she cant be flying in JUST for the day.
