car tints at thornhill tints

Dont know what happened to the other thread, but after talking to Richard the group buy prices are:
$225 for 5 - 25 ppl
$200 for > 25

first appointment can be booked as soon as Thursday. first name on the list will get first spot in the schedule and so on. This is a great price from a great shop.

yea but its not the going rate for thornhill tint, and if you want quality it usually comes with a bigger price tag than $225

^no, its also the tint, unless you like it turning purple in a few months... Richard has quality products and is very talented! He did a clear bra on my dads 325 3 years ago and it still looks brand new.

Richard did the tint on my old E36. Fantastic work. After 2 yrs it was still perfect. No discoloration, no peeling. Nada!

no to sh!t on thread but...had tints done at other places in GTA for same price. no tint film discolour after 5 years. in fact at one shop there was a lambo being tinted. i think the guys spent more time checking out the car then doing the tint job.

only hard part is ensuring no bubbles in the matrix area of the window.

like i said - its not the only place in the world to get good tinting done. Now days people are using 3m products as a standard. Which by no question is a quality product. Then the talent of tinting. If you have a base- (good product) and a guy who knows what he's doing you won't get discoloration or bubbling... again. 150-200. had it done many times.

Had my tint done at tintcity down on blackcreek drive got it over 4 years ago on my pontiac for $180 also on my e36 a few months ago for the same price. 4 years later on my pontiac and its still dark and no discoloration or bubbles or peeling. Plus even when my car got broken into and the rear passenger glass was smashed, I replaced the glass and they redid the tint for free.

tint city is a good place... nice tint and cheap prices.
250 is expensive... i think all the tint films come from the same place.. most of them are made in USA... except for the cheap ones made in china..and no one sells those.

you get what you pay for thornhill tints is very well known i wouldn't expect anything less then perfect from them. but hey its your car if you want a cheap 150 dollar job so be it but the guy geting paid 50dollars more is going to take care installing it. or you can have a kid install it for 150ish and risk having bubles and shit.

I've heard good things about fX auto. Tint king is supposed to be good aswell. 200$ for a group buy on tint isn't that great of a deal. I'd shop around, if you're bringing a shop 25+ customers, they should be doing it for much less. Dealerships pay less than that, and i bet they dont always send a car a day every month.

hey man, nobody is crapping on this thread. It's the simple truth...for 25+ people the group rate should be considerably cheaper since you are bringing the guy tons of business and potential future business. And right now with this shitty economy he should be kissing your feet. Dealerships do pay much less because they deal in "BULK" hence the "GROUP" rate. Thornhill tint isn't the "heaven" and ONLY place in the world to get quality work..
