Hi/Low beam Questoin

Hey all

Today i installed my HIDs (thanks, Ivan) nd they beam nice!!

problem is...the outside lights (the projectors) can only come on with the inner lights on (high beam lights).

is there anyway i can make them turn on seperately? so i have the HIds running by themselves?

lol the funnny thing is i did the exact same thing. i believe you have the top connector and the one on the left( looking from the front of the car connected). Im pretty sure the connections are the two bottom ports/plugs/ whatever you would call them. This happens because when you have the sealed beams, all 4 lightss come on at once. perfect example.....look at my sig.

can you make the outside light both high/low ? im thinking of doing an hid upgrade but do i need to do all 4 head lights making the outsides low and the insides high

of course you can eliminate one headlight if thats what your getting at but you will only have your low beam. With HIDs its more than bright enough.

UPDATE: problem solved...i unplugged the high beams, lol. the low beams (the elips) are good enough to be a substitute for highbeams!

i didnt butcher anything. simply unplugged (after i had to make some custom sealed beam to 9006 plug and play plugs). Good enough for me, believe me hahaha

hey hey wait up....my headlights(sealed beams) are crazy...the lowbeams dont turn on at all unless i put the high beams on at which point all 4 turn on??? i have ellipsoids from my old car so im gonna hook it up on monday !!!
we will see what happens? but im curious why it works that way now...ive been driving with the high beams disconnected !!! heheh
