FS: 1988 e30 325i Touring

88 e30 Touring forsale. 160,000kms

Just sold my 77 mini to build another and was planning on keeping this to dd in the warmer months but my dream mini has come up forsale and I seriously want it.

So I'm looking for a quick sale in or around $9,000 OBO.

If I wasn't in such a rush I'd sort a few things and ask $11,000 considering the what the available tourings are going for these days.

Fixed the two rust holes in the drivers floor. Has one in firewall and can fix this also. Carpet cleaned and dyed black. Sportseats have no rips, new Hanhook tires all round ($760 last fall) with maybe 200kms on them. Brock autofasion wheels. Stock motor, with timing belt supposidly done by previous owner (Have not checked).

Blower isn't working and haven't fixed it yet, along with passenger window. Has fluctuating idle currenlty since I did load checks on fuses (Pulling them individually). Could be vacuum line but will sort in this.

Paint is ok. Front drivers fender was just replaced with new one, along with all new e-brake components in rear. Custom brullen exhaust.

If it doesn't sell reasonably quick I'll keep it and dd it like I said.

Looks like I'm taking the car of the road for the next year as I have to many speeding tickets and will cost too much to insure 3 cars and they want stupid money.

Sux too, as I've installed rear AKG bushings in the subframe and trailing arms. H&R race springs and UUC Sway kit (both from Elephant). It's up on my lift currenlty as I have to put the rear sub frame back on as I had it sandblasted and painted. Also installing SS brake lines.

If someones really interested, I'd part with it rather than have it sit for the year, but I'm not going to advertise it.

do you have more pics? I remember seeing this thread before but seem to remember more pics. Other than what's mentioned in the OP, how much rust is on the car (body and underneath)?

If you're local you can come by and have a look as it's up on the lift still with the rear pulled off.

Any rust in the floor (2 spots) were cut out and replaced with fresh metal, seam sealed then painted with POR15. Same with any apots under the car, they were cleaned then POR15 coated, then under coated. Any rust was removed from the rear spring perches also. Sand blasted and painted the rear subframe also. Just have to put the rear back on now.

There is one small hole in the mid driver side firewall which will be cut and patched with new metal once I'm done the rear. There is also a quarter sized spot on the driver rear fender which I'm going to clean up.

All in all there currently is almost no rust and when I get the time, there will be NO rust.

I'll post some pics later.
