$5K on a line of credit or financed is nothing on payments. And you will enjoy the car more... My sister in law gets a new Z4 every summer (brother in law and family own a used card dealership) and I LOVE driving that thing... Hopefully in a year or two I'll have one too!

so to really high jack the thread...(really should do some work instead ). if you have cash...and we know cars are a poor investment but great for the emotion...why not put the cash in the car and borrow that same amount and put it into the market? you can write off a portion of the interest since it's an investment but you can't when borrowing for a car.

these days finding a stock or even the index to have a decent return over the next two years shouldn't be too hard. we had quite the run up already but far from the peak.
