CF hood group buy!
Hey guys... great news. Today i decided to talk to my neighbours here at work. They run a custom shop making all sorts of carbon fiber parts for anything you name it. If your firmilar with hamilton the shops name is CF technolgies.
So i had a chat with the owner and he's willing to do a group buy for 10 guys... This will be for e36's only. Total all in cost is only $500 dollars with tax! I've seen the quality of work they do and can vouche they know what they're doing.
high quality canadian made product, no chinese replica bullshit going on.
pm if interested.

responding to pm's replied.
additional information below.
the hood is exact same build quality as vis, it will be a light weight fiberglass underneith and carbon fiber ontop... will mount up to all stock hinges, will still retain the bmw emblem, and is sanded and fully clear coat with uv protection on final process.
each hood will be done on its own individual day... 1 hood per day, absolutely no rush.
turn around time will be 3 weeks once 10 people have committed... 50% deposit due upfront remaining upon pickup.
a photo shoot of all 10 cars after completion will also be done.

I'm interested if it's OEM fitment quality (gaps and edges) though I'd want to candy coat mine.
Does it have the OEM vents by the windshield, and the holes for nozzles as well?

it is oem fitment... they are using my original oem hood as the molding mock up.
it will have the holes for the spray nozzles... cost for the vents in the hood is an additional 50 dollars... $550 with vents... 500 without.... just more time involved.

the issue with these group buys is that we need at least 8-10 people to keep the costs down.... this shop runs complete custom work, being said they don't have prefab. moldings of any of the hoods, trunk lids, etc... if you start running into a one off scenario the price jumps up huge... a lot of the money and time goes into making the molds...
i'd suggest for the e46 guys try to get a group of 8-10guys together and let me know.. this group buy will be open for 2 weeks... at that point i'll determine how many serious buyers are onboard.
