Can I use CT's MotoMaster power steeling fluid for my 97's 318i?

need to add some power steeling fluid.
Can my 97's 318i use CT's standard MotoMaster power steeling fluid? or it needs higher quality one or specific BMW's oil?
many thanks!

pretty sure that all BMW require that you use power streering fluid that contains DEXRON. even my e30 requires that i use DEXRON. check your owner's manual to be safe.

Correct. Most BMWs use ATF for steering. A few exceptions are certain older 7 series and new BMWs use Pentosin.

Dextron isn't something that power steering fluid contains.

It:
A) Isn't power steering fluid, its ATF. (Automatic Transmission fluid)
B) Is a certification of ATF. Get Dextron III if your bmw says ATF on the steering reservoir cap. CT has it.

just to add that people forget that ATF fluid is basically a hydralic fluid and thats why its used in both powersteering and auto trans unit.
