maybe saw a csl e46 m3

i saw this e46 m3 with a csl on the back. What i want to know is if this was a real csl. It had the 'csl' above the ///m3 symbol in a larger font. It looked like a century gothic type of font and it was chrome.

Was this for real or was he just a ricer ... I think there is a csl e46 m3, if not please dont flame me.

I also saw a stock del sol with about 4 s2000 badges. I laughed hard.

I also saw a stock accord with an R sticker. I was mad

I vote it was just an emblem with 15hp gain.

did you see the tail light difference? and the REAL m3 csl doesn't have the CSL badge on its trunk.

I'm from Vancouver too and i can't imagine it being here ...
i'd pay attention to its front bumper, side gills (CSL instead of ///M3) and the tires .. (Pilot Sport competition)

similar sighting

I saw a titanium silver e46 on friday morning on Ellesmere turning north onto McCowan. I didn't see the badge but it had a body kit like the M3 CSL. Single hole in the lower left front bumper cover. Anybody know who's ride this is. It's not a CSL but looked ok (not my cup of tea but hey, what does that matter?)
later,

The CSL is available in Canada in limited numbers. It is has SIGNIFICANT weight reduction and much of its interior is replaced with carbon fibre to save weight.

A pretty penny though!
