I tried to tell you, this was ALL pre-planned. You think inside workers care about the sick day bank? we expected to lose it last contract negotiation. 1 month of striking flushes all money gained with a sick bank over 30 years down the drain. This is all a show, all politics. In the end Miller will get to axe the bank and he'll look like a hero.... which will give him a re-election next year on November 8, 2010.

....all the while, you will forget about the 3 Bil. debt and the 1.2 Bil spent on streetcars

my entire income for 09 will be courtsey of ttc expansions. I just had NORR architects and engineers pay me 18.5K this month alone for a single candidate which toke me 2 days to find. TCC is literally throwing money at professional services. we are forcasting a very good year

I saw a movie at the Cumberland theater and we walked around the area some too. If the trash bins weren't pointed out to me I would have never known the difference. It's fine.

^^yep, quite a lot of competition. We're focusing on people who are looking for convenience, as far as we know, we're the only buis with online payment, the only one that doesn't require you to be home when we pick the trash up, and the only one that doesn't require the trash be bagged (you can just drag your bin out).

Again, all politics based on that big ol' November date. They need something visibly significant to be done before that election date or say goodbye to Mr. Miller.

Godamn, wish I had time to do something like this. Medschool prep takes precedence.

You're thinking of continuing after the strike? How will that work?

It's not as easy as it seems. Even the simplest of business are complex. You need connections, a truck, people to do the work, a existing base of clients, knowledge of what you're doing, etc etc...

^ I think so. Also there are some jealous locals that see people want to make a buck or two. They get pissed and talk down on hard working people that pick up trash.

How does the wool feel when it's covering your eyes? Like Miguel said, this move is so that socialist softpants miller can look good to typical fence sitting Canadians, the ones who like to sit on the fence because of the pickets up the ass.

Ya, you know working for minimum wage is alot of fun. Axe the unions so that we can work for our selves in service. 10 bucks an hour to pick up trash, loads of fun.
