Although not many cars these time here are some pics from last weekends 1$mile runs.
My friends silver Evo 8(one with no rear wing) run a 10.01 mith 145mph exit.
The red eclipse is also a friend and he run 11.2 at 128mph but had difficulties with second gear so it should do better.
Yellow Vette is Turbo (claimmed 800bhp) and i have to say good going to the driver as he only has one hand. Car did run insane though with all second wheelspining and half third. No time there as he was having difficulties launching.
GTO was cool too with a massive turbo and although it did an 11sec run it blew an oil line so we did not get to see its real capabilities.
300zx had an SR20 instead and was at the mid to high 11s.
My favourite car though lookwise was the green mustang. Owner is making it a Bullit replica updated and is running 600bhp. Notice the licence plate is the same as the car in Bullit!

Nowdays i doubt there are many rich guys here! lol
Most of these guys have owned these cars a while.
There are many guys who live for their cars here also.
You should see my friends eclipse (not in the pics) running a GT42 and tons of carbon.
Most expensive car in the pics though i would think is that Yenko replica. It was build from scatch using original brand new parts including the engine and all, in the States at a cost of over 130.00 USD as far as i know.
As an example the guy with the silver evo i believe owns 4 or five Evos, a Volvo S60R and some other.
Before the crisis there was tons of money on cars here. Now most cars are being sold abroad. I even sold my Buivk last week and its on its way to the states.
