Oem Keyless remote programming

I recently bought my car, which came with a remote. It is a 3 button remote. The battery for the remote was dead on purchasing the vehicle and upon replacing the battery, the light on the remote works when pushing the buttons. Although the light works, the remote does nothing. I'm guessing I have to reporgram it to work for my car.

Anybody have a walkthrough on how to do so?

The pic of my remote is attatched.

Thank you.
