first opening laps.....you can see how awesome these track days are...so open especially this time. looks a lot slower than being in car. my friends have a couple of videos including being in car with randy in his gf's 350z. wild but awesome ride.

Wow, this sounds like fun. I should come out one day (probably next summer). I've never done this. What are these strictly enforced rules? What should I prep for?
passing only in certain sections.
helmets for verts.
make sure you got good life left on pads and new brake fluid.
take your time the first time your out. no lap timers and no racing for your first time.
get to learn your line and car and yourself.
dave can mention more rules when you get to the track.

The only rules there really are is to be rational and safe... don't drive beyond your abilities, obey the flags, give people space - let faster guys pass, be patient with slower cars. I don't personally approve of it but most guys don't even have helmets, so just bring what you've got and have fun.
