would the cops even give chase though? Especially to someone on a bike who would obviously outrun them.

I thought police in Ontario don't chase unless it's a serious crime (ie. murder, etc)

youd have to have balls of steel to be going faster then that on a motorcycle on a highway jam packed with women that cant drive.

sirex, who said that this was gonna happen during the day?

If this is going to happen during traffic, or basically anytime other than very late at night/early morning, i'm not down.

Ripping around on a bike on the 407 when its empty is one thing, endangering the lives of people trying to get home from work is another.

This would have to be planned so as to minimize the risk to the public.

^^ Your logic is flawed though. Even if you're minimizing the risk, you're still adding risk nonetheless. I'm not sure if it's worth it...

seen it already..

heres the story..in jane and finch, just south of finch where i live there is a section on driftwood and grandravine.Thi is where all the action happens. It was on a late afternoon when the cops were going thru the town house complexes on the bicycles and horses.

There were 4 horses and 8 bikes. I was on the lot working on my car and saw them passing by and i knew something was gonna happen. It always does..so i start to walk down the street couple of min after they left and i noticed a couple of guys running out from the complexes.

Than i noticed the cops on horses after them...one guy ran thru the parking lot and down the stairs and one cop on a horse followed him and got stuck in the lot cause he couldnt make it down the stairs.

the other guy ran around the lot followed by another cop on a horse. This is the funny part. The cop got real close to the guy and quickly the guy ran around a tree and the cop tried to do a quick turn and ran right into the tree.. The cop got knocked off the horse and flew back about 10 feet if not more. The whole community was out watching this and was one of the funniest cop chases i had witnessed.

The cops stopped chasing the guys and came to their partbers rescue who was taken away in an ambulance.

I wish i had a camera that day..it would have been one of the Most epic fail chases of all times...

I have seen other police chases as well but none as funy as this one..
