16yo girl protesting in Iran shot dead!- WARNING - Need a hard stomach to watch!
A young girl named Neda was killed this past weekend during protest demonstrations voicing their desire to have their vote count.
Their government officials do not want to hear them. People have walked away from their jobs, families and homeland to go out into the street to let their faces be seen. They hold up signs asking, in English, "Does my vote count?" They have become disenfranchised, ignored and brought to the end of their patience. The people of Iran use cell phone video and twitter to communicate with the rest of the world to show us what really is happening. There is an elephant in the room and President Obama is telling us to look out the window. I watched the video of the last 40 seconds of this young girls' life drain away and see the horror of her friends and family as they held her and sounded out their agony.
I am not Iranian or anti Iranian or whatever but when an innocent person dies like this i get pissed off! I hope the shooter suffers eternally and i hope this is the last martyr as such!

millions died in Iraq Iran war and no one cares,this crisis is great for a free election but some how it feels that outsiders are flaming the tensions right now.

Wow that's very disturbing. As far as I'm concerned the majority of the countries in the middle east are filled with god damn neanderthals. Their religions are setup to hate eachother and all they do is fight and the rest of the world has to hear about it. I wish they'd just wipe the whole toilet (middle east) off the map and the we wouldn't have to hear about it anymore.

WTF she doesn't even look 16. She's actually 26 years old, about to be 27.
The bullet hit her in the chest and then exploded/shattered causing massive internal bleeding which explains why blood was oozing from her nose and mouth. I am not surprised that she died in 2min or less but that must have been agonizing.
Yes many many people have died because of criminals who ascend the throne of power in the name of law/religion only to harm/extort/aggravate/deprive innocent civilians. It happens everywhere from Iran to the US to even in Toronto where we're levied more and more ridiculous taxes only to have garbage collectors and the like go on strike.
I'm glad the masses saw this during dinner time. Can you believe that we are making a big deal about this? Us who have been completely desensitized thanks to the internet and hollywood productions?
Whether you choose to be ignorant, lazy, callous or downright stupid understand this - there are people out there who wish to do nothing but extort and pillage the common folk/middle class as much as possible. It's here in Canada, it's across the border and it's damn near everywhere. People here manipulate the law, whereas in the middle east, they use religion. It's rampant in democracy, capitalism, communism, socialism, monarchy. It knows no political, religious or social bounds.
This girl dying is just a symbol of the many many lives that have been lost. Sometimes you need to expand you horizon and look at the bigger picture.

Xlash couldnt agree more.One person death doesnt mask the fact this region thousand are killed everyday because of religion or tribal hatred.Why isnt people crying for Iraq's people where the estimate killed there by western forces is over 1/2 million.The only reason Iran is getting headlines now is their idiot leader announced he won after only two hours after the polls closed,this was not a electonic ballot but manual counting.Anyways her death was sad but if she wasnt photogenic or if a fat male middle aged slob got shot no one would give a rats ass whats happens in Iran or any other part of the world.

I remember there was a video tape of a group of palestinian young boys during a battle between palestine and isreal.
one of the boys Showed the camera man his AK 47 and said "KILL MANY PEOPLE"
he runs into a doorway aims his rifle fires off 2-4 rounds before getting PUMMLED with isreali machine gun fire.
that same video you see the mother of the boy SCREAMING and crying saying
"MY BOY! ISREALI SOILDERS EXECUTED HIM HE DOES NOTHING TO DESERVE"
but you fully see him holding and firing an AK47.
in the above video, you see them just dropping her to the floor probably away from all the conflict. but she could have
thrown moltov cocktails, rocks, even fired small arms.
if she did one of the above. then screw her.
