FS: BMW key blanks!
I have so far:
4- e46 style 2 track keys
2- e36 style 4 track keys
Keys are blanks, they come with badges, no chips or remote guts. You can use them to renew your worn keys with new buttons badge etc, or get them cut and transfer the entire guts of your key.
$20 a key, pm is key.

you can't cut a key from the delaership. Dealership order keys based on your VIN number. Anyway there is a shop in Pacific mall which can cut your key but be aware!
They cut 3 keys and 2 of them were good and 1 of them was bad!
So take your chances, if you anyone know some other locksmith who can cut BMW key well please share with us.

It won't start the car without the chip, he also states no remote guts.

So lets try this again.
There are Blanks, without remote guts or smart chips. They will open your car if your lock your key inside the trunk fro example, but will not start your car.
You can take your old key apart and install the chip and remove inside, allowing them to start the car.
You can also use the badge and shell to replace a old key shell that is mangled and falling apart.
I have blanks for most models, 2 and 4 track.
I now have e46, e36, e39 and e34 keys.
$20 per blank, pm 328i Cab for cutting.
